Construction starts on apartment complex in Lower Callerton

Bellway has begun construction work on a 12-unit new development in Lower Callerton.

The first homes within Falcon Grove, off North Walbottle Road, are a collection of affordably priced one- and two-bedroom apartments in a three-storey building.
Each apartment will feature a balcony or terrace and will include allocated parking.

Falcon Grove forms part of a wider neighbourhood being delivered by Bellway in Lower Callerton, with detailed consent from Newcastle City Council already in place for this phase of the development.

The scheme is also set to comprise of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes.

Bellway is due to release the first apartments at Falcon Grove for sale in May and will be ready to move into January 2025, with prices to be confirmed.

Emma Chesterton, sales director at Bellway North East, said: “Work is now underway on the new apartments at Falcon Grove, which will be Bellway’s newest phase of development in Lower Callerton and marks another milestone in our commitment to deliver hundreds of new homes for the area.

“These apartments have been designed to meet the needs of buyers who are looking for an affordable way into homeownership.

“We’re looking forward to seeing these apartments taking shape and fit into the wider scheme at Lower Callerton.”
